Hoping to make some late season burger out of a few of them next week myself.

Shoot her if you can.  I had one on a small property that I hunt that busted me every so often for a 2 years in a row.  I have several stands on the property and hunt the stands only when the wind is right for them, so scent was never an issue. 

She would lead the group through the fields and whenever she entered a plot of woods, she would look up and scan the trees for anything out of the ordinary.  She nailed me several times until I set up a blind at the corner of a field and brushed it in like crazy.  I caught her one evening as she was leading the crew in to a patch of woods. She was focused on the wooded area and I was in the blind 20 yards to her left.  She was delicious..

I try to shoot those first.  The rest are easier then.

Well fed and pregnant.  They are smart, and will raise their button bucks to be smart, protecting them, and giving them a better chance of surviving into maturity.
