Buck down!

Had a great night in the woods tonight! Got a cell cam pic of a shooter 8 not far behind me at 6:06 as I got prepared for him to work his way towards me there was no sign of him for 10 min. I kept my bow in hand as there was only 15 min of shooting light left deep in the woods. Not a minute later I hear walking over my right shoulder and it’s 2 does just as they step out onto a wood road I hear all hell breaking loose over the rock wall from and it’s the shooter 8 chasing a doe. 30 seconds later I hear more walking over my right shoulder and it sounds like buck steps ( you guys all know the sound) once I can see it I can tell it’s a big bodied deer but can’t see it’s head now he hears the chasing going on and steps out in the wood road I can tell it’s a shooter a nice 10 I’ve had on camera for a the last few days. He stepped across the rock wall and gave me a 36 yard broadside shot. I made a couple calls to buddy’s second guessing my shot cuz I didn’t get a pass through and he kicked the arrow after running a few yards. Ended up running about 80 yards total gave him a couple hours just Incase and waited for @JHbowhunter and @Newtonlt2to come gimme a hand tracking as I wasn’t overly confident in the shot. Just about hit jacks green dot lol. All in all a great night with good friends and a good deer down. 10 pt dressed out at 190 pounds.

Congrats buddy!  Was fun to track a buck (they should all be that easy) and happy to see u get that first “ten” but certainly won’t be your last.  Lots of venison 190# is like shooting two big does!
