What i am comfortable with is my equipment and knowing i could make the shot. Have i used it over the years? Maybe twice. Do i trust my skills? Yes. 13.3 grain per inch bolt (aluminum) muzzy trocar heads. Bear crossbow at 360 feet per second. The kinetic energy alone allows a shot like that as i have killed deer going through the shoulder with this set up. Listen would a broadside shot been ideal? Sure. A 3 year quest with a deer on edge and i saw an opportunity and took it. Just about cut the heart in half. Im not looking for a debate on shot placement. I know where is best. Sent from my SM

2020 300. Love it. And no. 60 yds. I am very comfortable taking that shot with the crossbow, especially at 25 yards. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

So not to bore everyone with a super long story. Haven't killed a deer this year. Had some compound bow issues plus a terrible stand set up which led me to tonight. I have been getting daylight pics of a buck that is at least 4 years old (3 years of pics as an 8 point). Anyway tonight I tookmy son's crossbow in due to the set up I mentioned. Had 2 does under me st 430. They look to my left and here comes a buck parade. This deer plus a 16 inch wide 4pt and some dinks. Long of the short is he came in last and left first. Quartering to shot on the point of the shoulder and he was down in 60

Out in zone 5 with the bow. Something about bowhunting in the snow. Who else is braving the white stuff? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

No pics except the back of the truck due to time. My boy got a nanny down this morning. Using the game butcher in Stillwater for the first time with her. Heard nothing but good about his work. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
