Otters back home

Just got back my last 2 otters from the tannery. Came out great. Great soft tan. Couldn't see giving them away at any of the fur actions. Prices have been way down on most furs. I love their fur and are special to catch here in Jersey.  Only allowed one a year if you draw a permit.

Both were males. One was just 26 pounds and the other was just over 20 pounds. Did one with feet on and one without. Have to hang them cause they are a little wrinkled from being in a box when shipped back to me.

Yeah but you know the otter is harder to find. But the rats are probably a little softer

Nice buck.  Snare or coni damage on the one?  Tough to tell in the photo.  They’re a resilient fur.  Coni doesn’t usually ding them much unless something goofy happened

Both coni. It's just the picture. They were shipped back in a small box and will take a little while hanging to straighten out.
