I have two bucks sparring out in front of me right now.  I think I got some pretty good gopro footage.

That bait bucket is an antique from when the Indians used to bait deer around here!

5 hours in tree , 2 turkeys and a squirrel .

usually see a dozen or more here daily .

hoping for the right mid day movement .

If you killed 60 or more deer in the last 3 years in the same area what do you expect?

Will be meat hunting tonight. Got one doe in mind I’d like to try and shoot.

Sat across the river until 11, then on the way back out saw a horse of a buck by where I crossed, about 100yds from where I was sitting, and right by where I had sat earlier in the season when I passed on a small 8.  Heavy beamed, typical monster rack, may have been a 10pt but it was gone in a flash before I got a good look.  Definitely more points than the big 8 I've seen and been after.  Bitter sweet because I'm glad I'm not trying to get him out of there right now.  Going to try coming in from the other side of the marsh tonight, as long as I can cross there it will be a shorter and flatter drag.  Water was still pretty high

did a small job this morning and now looking for my birthday buck

I’m very selective . 
only shoot 3/4 hunting  a bunch of states .
