Normally not a big deal but I got a doe.  It was my first archery harvest with my bow.  I retired the crossbow.

Doing a PM sit in Z25.  Walked past a group of about a dozen turkeys on way to stand.  Day late for them, but promising for the spring 🙂

Good luck afternooners. I am locked and loaded. Tired of seeing 1.5 year old bucks every hunt. Have not seen an older buck than that in 2 weeks!  Was seeing 3 yr olds nearly every hunt until mid month. Passed up a good 4.5 yr old 8 pointer end of September I sort of regret. Trying to get m mojo back. Maybe tonight will be the night I at least see a shooter.

Must be rough. I haven’t seen a deer since the opener on 9/11. Private farm where I normally see anywhere between 8-20 deer per sit. No tracks, scrapes, rubs, nothing. Ghost town. Squirrels and turkeys but no deer.
