LPJR
What a rush. Made it out to the lodge and took lots of pics as Jr drove in on his permit. Flatter that flat Oklahoma turned into gorgeous prime big buck country at the lodge which is located in South Central Kansas in the Flint hills region. Poor cell signal service here which will make posting any pics and videos difficult indeed. Some cool history at this place. For starters, bowhunting icon Jim Dougherty killed his last buck from an old barn on the property here before he passed away. A 202" and a 190" buck were taken here and are mounted in one of the most gorgeous lodges we have ever seen that we are staying in.. Just heard 5 gobblers cranking about 1/2 mile away at sunset. Game on in the morning.. 20210403_163828.mp4 Rusty, Swamprat, Haskell_Hunter and 1 other

Rusty
UPDATE: Service is bad out there so Lou asked me to give an update. They roosted 4 gobblers last night and set up on them this morning. The birds came in but have been out of bow range so far. electric10162, LPJR, BowhunterNJ and 2 others
