  1. I wanted to add a little more about why I was shooting last Wednesday. I recently bought a Spyderweb Target and wanted to see if the new "easy pull" heads would help improve getting the arrows out of my older Cabala's bag target along with the NEW Spyderweb target. Every time I shot before with the Satellite tips they would stick in both targets. The last time I was at Winslow range my father couldn't get the arrow out of the NEW Spyderweb target until we lubed the tips. (Not something that should ever have to be done or should be done.) After only shooting 7 shots in an hour and a half. We had to travel home with one arrow stuck into the target until he was able to have help. Which leads me back to Wednesday, after my first two shots had no problem with the bag target it was time to test the spyderweb. Never got to find out because of what happened. I'm in process of retuning the Web target because the bag had given my father no problems.
  2. But will I? This never happened to me and I'll be more hesitant as I go forward for sure. One thing is for sure, every step will be looked at with much more caution as it's shot.
  3. Well, I went today to Shooter's. and from just a visual inspection everything looks good. I'll know more after it's in the press when the they put the string on it. I'm going back Wednesday after string arrives. (The press should show any problems if there are any.) BTW, The Cventerpoint arrows that came with, weigh 396 grain. I never shot with them , but I have shot with Carbon Express arrows weighing 409.8 grain. I then went to the Victory Archer Decimators that weigh 450.4 grain. Pictures of the Centerpoint and the Decimators on the scale.
  4. A bit late, as I'm down today, but if EVEYTHING GOES RIGHT I will be at Shooter's no later than this weekend. At least I can rely on "old faithful" the Horton Legend ll. Cronoed @ 267fps. I'm sure to everyone posted on how I make out.
  5. A little off topic; Can anyone remember when the Indian kneeled? You could bend her in half and her knees became her breasts. Corny, but I was a kid.
  6. We checked to cocking thread just for that. The only other place would have to be where the trigger mechanism picks up the string. Hard to tell that from a non tech eye I'd assume.
  7. That's why I signed up on CN. I just wanted to see if the front limb ensemble was connected right to the stock the first time. To me it the serving string had to much of an arc when i laid across the rail. So it was taken off and realigned.
  8. That's what they told me too. If anything else is wrong it's under warrantee. Was scratching my head.
  9. This s my first time this ever happened to me. Like you said such a higher speed, I'm feeling like something else may be damaged. The tech from Shooter's will go over it this weekend. Sadly, I just can't drop everything and go. Wish I could. Anyhow I got a few more pics to show. It shows the left cam still has loop connected but the right is broke. I can spot some serving string. Although, that still may mean nothing. Also, I try and look if the nock is seated on the string before firing. ADDED: Although, it still may have been on fault. I would hope not though. Nock is always check to make sure it's 90 degrees.
  10. Victory Archery Decimat0r Lighted Nock 345 grain bolt with a Stainless Steel Archery Field Points, Easy Pull 100 grain.
  11. Just a reminder ... I do have the Horton Legend ll as a backup. She's just slow paced like myself.
  12. Thanks, but it takes time for me t set up a shooting rig for my situation. I just can't grab any bow and shoot it. But thanks you.
  13. Anyone know of a good tech down here in or near Atlantic County? I used Belleplain Gun Supply and Blackwater Sports Center years ago. Just thought I'd ask.
