Hopefully this isn't the start of the long awaited "correction" but it ain't looking to good. Futures trading was halted due to 5% fall, oil is getting hammered. Euro markets are already tumbling today. Lots of bad signs through last week and into this morning.

Where have you been ? The correction came already. This is nothing but painc

There is panic but there is much more to it than that. We have countries quarantining millions of citizens to stop the spread of the virus which will have actual economic effects beyond causing people to panic selling. And the big correction has not come, not even close.

^^-- This!

The markets were preparing for a correction due to elevated risk in European corporate bonds.  With the slowdown in manufacturing and consumer spending in Europe, expect another significant correction between now and May.  There will be a lot of credit defaults occurring in Europe.  Lebanon just defaulted on its national debt.  That's just the beginning.

It's a shit-show.  This one is different for various reasons.  Most of them out of anyone's control and its a true global crisis.  Hope no one retiring soon was planning on using their 401K.  At some point though there will be some solid buying opportunities.
