Let’s not overlook the fact that I lost a fight  with some multi-flora rose just hours before the hunt.  There was some pain and suffering that went into the this . The plant won the battle but I won that war with an axe shortly after I was attacked.

  Congrats again Jack on a amazing Buck. Great shot too. That's a shooter any where's. People say having bait out you can't kill a mature buck but this is another one that shows if you have the doe's feeding on bait then you never know what can come in checking them. Nice to get a surprise buck once in a while. Hopefully you have a few local bucks that live and have some history with for next season.

Told ya November 11th is always a special day in the deer woods!!!

......also, a special day given back to our honorable veterans to get off work and hunt the rut.....I'm sure a hunter was involved in choosing that day for observance of the holiday!!
