Headed out with Tracey, John and Guy this morning.

Hit  a bunch of  spots and was able to grind out a boat limit of nice fluke  to over 6# as well as three limits of good sea bass.

Weather man def blew today's forcast. Was very nice with very little wind.

Nice Dan. Did you fish the tournament?  I see Fish Monger won it.

No. my work schedule has kept me away from the tourneys this summer.

I had been slated to work today till late yesterday

That stinks. Yeah this is the first year I'm not fishing any either. Everyone I fish tournaments with is getting old and not feeling good and Matt not is the fishing mode and broke his arm bad. I haven't even fished the ocean yet for fluke yet.

Seems there are a lot of fish around.

Talking to many of the friends we all had fish in many areas yesterday for over a 30 mile span.

what we need is the SE heave to go away for a few days and these fish will really put the feed bag on.

The constant cold water upwelling has them just mouthing the baits  much of the time.

Jack was no where near it. There have been days guys lost close to 20 bucktails fishing crazy sticky stuff.

I would say an average day is 4/5 a piece .
