Got lucky out front this morning!!!!!

Headed down to Manasquan at the butt crack of dawn this morning with the hope of running into some blue fish or striper. I know too many stripers aren't really around right now and the blues are almost nowhere to be found but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. That and I'm tired of catching short fluke. I was only fishing for about 20 minutes saw some fish hitting the top of the water I threw on a small topwater popper hooked a 30 inch striper. I was fishing for meat so I threw it in the truck and headed home.

Many not trying and you hit one. Bet you won't be alone if you go back.  That's good eating there with the Chicken Surf and Turf  Try the end of jetty Manasquan Northside Sunrise before the mad rush buddy been picking a blue here and there. said they stack up in the mouth running tides.

 Congrats on the Harvest.  Bake the striper head. If you've got chickens they will pick it clean. Maybe. Lol.
