That buck beat me again on the rr bed. He moved after the snow stopped this morning and went down into this meadow again.  I'm  hoping he's nearby laying in the cattails and moves back through here tonight.

That’s damn good blood. It appears it just coming out his right side, was that the enrty side?

Yes the entrance was on his right side. There’s noticeably more blood coming from his right side but there’s also blood coming from his left which I believe to be from the inside of the far shoulder/leg hence why my bolt broke in half and I have not recovered the second half (broadhead half) because I think it’s stuck in the opposite leg.

I'd wait till morning and track him then no need to go in dark incase you bump him and don't notice.  Buy either way should be a dead deer

Seen what looked like coyote tracks going under the rootball I'm in. It just ran out and a deer snorted behind me.

Hey Bill where are you hunting?  I plan on getting in the woods tomorrow at about 11am, if you're not too far, I'm free before that if you want some help.

 So I had a dog tracker meet me at 6:30. We tracked the deer for close to a half mile. Within the last 125 yards the deer bedded down three times. We ended up jumping him with him  Bed down 20 yards from us. We backed out and are going to go back in the morning.
