Very nice jersey brown trout

Went back to one of the streams I explored a couple weeks ago and the stream was up and  off colored. So as I walked it I noticed the tiny brook that feeds it was flowing excellent very high and clear. So I hiked it up and this brown was my reward for my efforts. I hope to catch him again. Amazing fighter and just awesome colors on him. He was a pork chop eating good with all the recent rains raising the creeks. It made my day catching this fish. And I caught a nice pretty  rainbow I added that picture as well.

Your new grill looks amazing. You are one talented mason. I released them but would definitely like to cook some fish one day on your grill. I found a bolt where I caught the rainbow you can see it by my foot. I think it got washed downstream.

Nice fish! I forgot what a brown trout looks like in the Flatbrook lol.....Used to absolutely love to fish when it was raining for browns. The harder it came down, the harder the browns would hit!

No, but NJ has dozens of private clubs that still stock browns. That one looks like a Musky Trout Hatchery brown.
