I am always so careful when I go in the woods. Permuthin spray...fully covered etc. Sunday went in real quick in regular jeans and sneakers to move a hangon. Saw these this morning. Off to the doc

U think its chiggers? I thought it was bullseye rash from lyme tick. I hope you're right. The doc will know either way.....

Doesn't look like the bullseye from a tick.  I never encountered chiggers, but from what little I know, that is from them and not a tick.  The center of the tick bite will be bright red with a circle out from that.

For whoever is following...doc said its lyme for sure. 3 weeks of antibiotics and all should ne fine. If you see something similar on yourself, see a doc. Better safe than sorry. As Bill notes, they don't all look the same.

No blood test and he's claiming lymes. Blood test takes a least a week. How is he basing his diagnosis

He said bloodwork wont show for 2 weeks and even then it has many false negatives. Its important to start treatment right away because Lyme is serious. So, the standard of care is to not wait for test results just treat immediately based on rash.
