Spring break in Utah…

…was mostly spent skiing but we did get one day of fly fishing on the Provo River. Great fun with good fishing and absolutely gorgeous fish - both rainbows and browns. Even a nice whitefish that “self released” at the net. My boys have fished a bit for stocked trout but now they have a whole new appreciation for what trout fishing can be.

Came home Friday night and on Saturday I managed to sneak out and catch a couple of stripers at my local spot.

Nice job! I fished the Provo a few years ago. You guys did well. I caught a few nice fish but it was tough. Gets a lot of pressure.

Thanks! Almost no pressure this time of year. We only saw one other fisherman, he was hammering them on dry fly

Nice!!    I always hated coming back to skiing the Poconos after a trip like that. Or fishing for stockers.
