Big PA bear down!

639lb black bear killed today in Lackawanna county PA.  Hunted this same mountain two weeks ago and zero bear sign.  Up there the land is vast though and there’s lots of places for them to hide out.  What a bruin thought! To be clear I did not kill this bear another hunter did but I was notified as I hunt the area.

To be clear I didn’t shoot this bear.  Another hunter did.  It was sent to me as I hunt the area.

Yes you can actually.  I’ve researched this.  Have to get the game commission involved to a certain extent but t has been done.  In this case there are quad trails all over the mountains so I’m assuming they got a ATC or a forklift(just kidding) back there.
