Can't go this year, the senior guys caught on that if you take the following week off, you get 11 days off for the cost of 5. 😬

Stillhunting and went about 80yds past my rootball blind when a buck went right by it and crossed behind me. Might be the same 7pt that went by me there last week but points looked longer. Should be good for muzzy on Monday if nobody cuts me off. I can only shoot a doe now and there's none to be found

Hit up a local wma for some squirrel hunting with 4 year old son.  Saw one squirrel but no shot.  Stuck to trails and field edges as he doesn’t handle thick snot well.  He tripped over a big set of bones i assumed a bear.   About 20 yards past that found a dead bear no bigger than a small lab.  Hasn’t been dead long at all.  Overall he had fun so that’s what matters.

Think I may go freshen up my bait pile at my muzzy spot today and sit at another spot a half mile away. I haven’t had  a shooter on camera since the last week in October. The doe”s and dinks are on there feet the last week or so but that’s it.

Woke up early so I headed out for a morning sit, the breeze was shifty but still had one buck pass under my stand in the dark and 5 does came by once it got light
