11/1 Check In

My best sit of the season, 14 deer total. Seven does, three buttons, one fawn, one forky, two rack bucks. It's amazing how November 1st is always action-packed like a switch flipped. There was bird-doggin, chasing, cruising, it was great! The two rack bucks were 2.5yo.

Heard one come down within 100yds when I was retrieving the deer.  That's one tree I won't sit under now.  100lb limbs have been falling all around

Couldn't find the arrow in the weeds and there wasn't much blood to start with but he ran faster than I ever seen a deer run and figured not much blood would be in any one spot.  Was bleeding out both sides.   Lot of blood where he started to stumble before he dropped.   I can relax a little now before muzzy opens.  Might go for a doe to donate if I get bored.

Congrats on your buck. Sorry I was a little late responding. Been hunting and not good internet service. You put your time in and deserve that one
