Nj Surf & Turf (Fluke & Deer)

     Was warm and I wanted to fish this morning so my uncle and I went Fluking. We ended up catching 10 keepers. Released the biggest around 5 lbs. i thought we had our limit in the cooler and the last fish I caught was a slot fish and I threw it back. Ended up we were one shy of our limit…lol

    After cleaning the boat and fluke had a rain storm roll through and it dropped the temperature so it gave me the urge to hunt for my doe. I got to the stand and as I pulled the crossbow up I had a spike and doe walk in. Ten minutes to crank it back and get a bolt on could have shot her but was never the right angle. They walked off. Ten minutes later the doe came back. 20 yard shot quarthing away. She went 50 yards i the thick stuff. 
     So a good day with a NJ outdoorsman surf and turf.

That’s awesome. Can’t say that I’ve ever had a surf and turf day like that myself!
