My boat is ready. New electric Jack plate on motor and a hydrofoil on motor. This should solve the porpoising issue.

Set the jack down until cavitation plate is even with bottom of the boat 

shouldn’t have to touch it after that

Never would have thought of going after stripers in a kayak.  I can see myself being pulled around by the fish until it decided to dive and turn my kayak into a submarine.

A striper is much more than easy.....my biggest battle was this, close to 100 lb yellowfin tuna that beat my a$$ for over 2 hours !!!  I was done fishing for the day after this !!  LOL
