Thats wild.  It’s been a wet and stormy spring. I’m sure the rivers are wrecked again. Can’t catch a break! Lol

Our beach was the biggest it’s been in years after a winter….now it  is gone in a day !

it has been worse .

if we get the crazy ground swell with this action it gets a roller at the edge of the wall , that your even with the bridge tender until a third of the way in. .

pretty eery feeling wondering if it will break by the time you reach the bridge .

bunch of the party boats have hit the north wall when it breaks 90 degrees into the rocks .

‘Timing is def everything there .

and it’s one of the milder inlets , can only imagine what some of the bad southern inlets looked like

Routinely traveled out of Barnegat which could be pretty hairy even in moderate weather and always admired how calm and easy Shark River was. I have a new respect for it that’s for sure

A few of the ugliest inlet that come to me are Oregon then a close second would be Shinnecock and I must say I’ve had to lay outside of Manasquan Inlet unable to make it in more than once as a matter fact more than twice. It’s all about the tides. Just last week there were two days I had to wait out the tide in Shennecock you don’t need much wind when you have almost a three knot tide running against it. You’ll take the windows right out
