Remington 7600 Carbine 30-06 For Sale "Sold Pending Transfer to MikeJD"

SOLD!! After much thought, I have decided to sell my 7600 Carbine. It is a real 7600 Carbine as seen in the pictures. It is a real nice rifle! The wood stock and blueing all show well with little sign of useage. There have been a few upgrades that have been performed by a professional gunsmith as seen in the pictures such as- Recoil Pad, Trigger Job (3 LB pull), Sling Mounts, and Magna Porting. These upgrades have been done to improve the function and reduce the felt recoil of this deer rifle. It was manufactured in 1988 when Remington was still recognized as a quality gun maker. The detachable magazine is a New Old Stock replacement that I just purchased. Try finding one for sale in this condition locally! Even on GunBroker the $1200.00 Carbines are worn out walking sticks! It is doubtful if Remington(Ruger) will ever make another Carbine. Purchase will take place at a FFL Dealer and Transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer.  I have recently inherited an like new 760 Carbine. So I would like to see the 7600 get into the hands of someone who wants to do some serious big buck hunting. Hate to see it sit in the gun safe forever!

GLWS but where are you finding that Ruger bought Remington ? Last I read/heard  Ruger bought the Marlin arms division and the Vista group bought Remington

That is what the owner of Davis Sport Shop in Sloatsburg NY told me. They could be wrong, but I just figured if anyone knew, they would.
