Animal Id?

I feel like the other one I saw from stand one morning (along a creek) was pretty small, very thin/slender/sleek and also black or dark brown.  Smaller than or about the same size as a ferret, smaller than the dinosaur sized squirrels running around those woods!

Although for perspective, see the raccoon in the back not too far from where the animal was in its pic:

This is tough call. Could be a mink. Could be a fisher. If we could see the actual size and possibly see if it has a white chin. Then we would have a definite answer.

It's some kind of weasel but it's not a Fisher. Fishers have longer legs.  That things that looks like a leg in the pic is not a leg.

Upon further review....Fisher.

Mink are much more slender in build.

I have seen a fisher a few times in the pinelands . Very big compared to a mink. I had a stand in the swamp and would see them often when deer hunting. Why do you say to report to fish and game?
