Sandy hook critters - Picture heavy

If you stuck at home this is not a bad place to relax. Not too many people and the views are great. The bathrooms are closed.
If you can't get out here are some pics.
There were few Long-tailed duck in the surf and black Scoters way out past the breakers.
@LittleM you said you want to get Norther Gannet this year, they are flying up and down the coast almost non-stop
First migrant is back, the Oystercatcher. No terns, no pipers yet.

Awesome photos!  I'm still working but I definitely need to get down that way soon.  One of my kids on a job site further down and saw quite a few piping plovers.

Maybe they are past the tip where I normally see them. I walked the ocean side from first parking lot to the tip and back

Picking it up maybe more expensive than most of us can affordt. In fact running this boat maybe out of reach. But go fast, people are climbing all over it and there is tons to steal, including all electronics
