Finally caught up with this guy...he was following a doe & I later noticed his scrape 30 yds away from where I shot him, which had been neglected for the last 2 weeks or so, was reopened & heavily worked.  That lump on his flank was my accutip slug.  Buddy also saw a buck following so I'd say 2-3rd rut is on now as it usually is

Zone 12 this morning for 4 hours.....Whitehouse Station area......didn't see a deer..........dark to dark sit in zone 5 yesterday, private land that borders Jenny Jump....passed a small buck at first light and didn't see anything else........the tree umbrella worked great until the 4 hour straight downpour until dark....ugh !!!   Congrats to all that braved the weather and scored today and yesterday !!
