Good luck guys, taking the dog out bird hunting today. Back at it with all day sits tomorrow and Tuesday

So far I've seen 4 does, a fawn, and a spike. Only the fawn got within range.

Don't shoot your live bait this time of year

Got settled in the blind at 0540. Great horned owl was hooting until daylight began to crack. A spike was at 10 yards for the past 1/2 hour. 

Nice cold morning, fingers crossed. So quiet here-you can hear a pin drop. Zone 13.

Crossed river to hunt a mountain stand. Took on a little water waders leak. Tree fell, knocked my cam off the tree and bent my treestand shooting rail. 

Hope you have your safety harness on because you're having a rough morning.

It's on in Zone 2 Mt Salem!  Two eights pushing does. One is definitely a shooter. Fingers crossed!!

Lot of action. 2.5 yr old 6 point chasing two doe. 3 spikes all around me. Doe scattered all throughout woods eating acorns. And a 2.5 year old split brow 9 pt cruised by nose to ground. See another dink now.

I had a spike run into the side of my car this morning coming home from work.  Yes, he hit me!  They’re so stupid right now!

Been in the tree since 5:45. Scared up a big doe and a pretty nice 8 point right by my tree stand. Haven’t seen another deer since getting settled.

The bigger eight and a four point hung in the creek bottoms for over an hour. And a spike happily eating acorns all the while.....I guess he knows he ain't getting any

What difference a day makes ! Yesterday Z2 pretty good action on our farm. Today it’s dead I saw two does. 4 others out and one deer in the dark that’s it WTF !!!
