Went out for waterfowl this a.m. in the rain. Not too many ducks flying around but we got some geese.

Rain stopped when I pulled up to my spot saw 25 baldies only had three close enough for a shot but gave them the pass

Rain stopped ao I went and sat in the coop hoping for the return of  those bucks. They wee doing something else this day.

Shot a little one. Unfortunately antlers less then 3" . Were to small to see in the dark. At least some great meat for the freezer. Family is going to love it!

I shot at a nice buck this evening. Clean miss.
Last light, fog and rain, the range finder did not work,(I am guessing 100yards). Then I could not see anything through my scope. I cleaned it 4 times and still could not find him. I finally used my dry Tshirt and even then I could just see his outline. No way to see any sticks/branches that could have possibly been in the way. I searched for 3 hrs. No deer no, blood.  I may take another walk in the Am (I saw 30 deer today)

I think you're missing something... he is hunting in Illinois right now, so thats a baby I'm sure he never took his bow off the hanger
