Marked this bird Saturday when he was gobbling his head off.  

I got in early and set up on the edge of a field near where I thought he was roosted.  I waited until the crack of dawn before giving a few soft tree calls.  That got him started.  I was less than 100 yards from the roost.  He was going crazy on his branch, strutting back and forth while hammering off.  He finally flew down into the field.  That's when I noticed a henabout 20 yds away.  Not sure where she came from.  She was clucking and yelping so there was no need for me to make another sound.  She fed her way behind me and he followed, strutting the whole way.  At 30 yards he picked his head up and I took the shot.  He flopped around a few seconds and that was it.  Thank you to Countyhunter for the barrel.  Time for work.
