Delaware hunt this year

I’m down in lower slower for my yearly deer hunt. Gun season was last week and I just couldn’t get on a decent buck. I’m leaving for home on Wednesday morning. Thankfully this guy came in tonight. It seems this is my year for 6 pointers. Shot him with my crossbow while sitting in a chair behind a blowned down tree. He snuck in behind me and I had to shoot him left handed at 15 yards. I thought I was busted at first but the doe he was following got him in trouble.

Congrats! My cousin owns 200 acres in deleware and he sends me pics of so many giant 4-5yr old bucks on his land its insane..
Also the surrounding area harvests are huge. Some real bruisers.

Delaware can grow some nice bucks, unfortunately the farms I hunt are under crop damage management so they hardly ever reach their true potential.  A guy I work with leases a big section of woods around Milford and he has some giants running around the property.
