Losing my mind

Happens to the best of us.  I know this is completely different but many men were either injured or died in battle by ram rods being shot out of rifles. Brutal times.

I did this once too. Have the scar between my eyes as a memory. Found the ramrod 200 yards away and it was spiraled. Telemarketer called my house phone while I was outside shooting. Distracted me enough that I remembered loading the gun but didn't take the ramrod out. Gun was fine afterwards though.

Yea it could have been worse. The green mountain barrels are tuff. And luckily I had a good square shoulder mount on her never even got bruised did more damage to my wrist then shoulder that was a 100 grains of Blackhorn and a 190 gr expander plus a brand new spin jag and rod. I think the spin jag may have helped I figure less drag.
