Broadheads

What are some good flying mechanical broadheads? Been using nap spitfires for a long long time and want to maybe switch it up. What else flys like field points?

SWAT Broadheads are nasty SOBs they fly great and have huge holes. Granted I don't use a compound anymore and only use a crossbow but many compound folks shoot them

I think the Grim Reapers are by far the best mechanical broadheads on the market. I'll never shoot another head.

I shoot rockymountainswitchblade.   I love them but can only work for compound

I've been shooting Jak Hammers for over 20 years and think they are great.  Found some Grim Reaper Carnifours on sale this year and gave them a try - maybe learn something new.  Really neat design, and I was able to reuse the two I used for deer.  As I recall, I don't think I needed to make much of a change for point of impact from the Jak Hammers or field tips.  I really liked the fact that the Carnifours had a practice head available; I bought two of them.  Have to use dental floss with the Jak Hammers.

i like both of those in the pro series tips .

Been shooting Wasp Jak-Hammers for about 10 years now. Amazing results. 
 

And any broadhead will fly like a field point out of a properly tuned bow.

I ordered some grim reaper whitetail special. Made in USA

i didn’t realize spitfires aren’t made in USA anymore so I’m done with them

Those look great. I bought a bunch of 125 Sevr’s last year. Shot 4 deer with them and they worked perfectly every time. I would like to try those Whitetail Specials.

WS  come in three different style tips . The pro series tip is by far the nicest .

and the pro series head has a stronger back cup than the 2 normal series heads .

I agree. I use swhackers when I hunt with my crossbow. Deadly and they fly great.
