Long range weather SUCKS

Recommended Posts

Rain could just mean a chance of a shower, maybe just at night,  Temps look good for ticks.  I had a dozen on me a few days ago after just going 50ft with hardly any weeds.  It's Permethrin time

Sure hope the weatherman is wrong more than right next week .

rain 8/10 days showing to start the month .

should have streams up for the trout stockings

Such a forecast usually means, they don't know exactly how the system is going to play out...

My theory is ….swollen trout streams help with distributing the stockings to spread out further than just the drop points.  It was always a sight to be seen …the Manasquan River pool under the squankum rd bridge….30 guys huddled around the pool!!  Whereas my dad would make us as kids n a few neighbor kids walk all our gear 1/2 mile along the golf course to our spot….the fish were there tho…spread out a mile downstream….& I don’t think they float stocked it.

I wouldn't worry. They can't predict what's going to happen tomorrow, let alone 10 days from now.

I want to frost seed and looks like temps are going to be mild . I need that freeze / thaw cycle for at least 3 to 4 days .

Drag that new harrow drag across the wet ground a couple of times and seed away. Just enough to rough the surface without flushing major weeds.
