Ha ha ooh rah, been through the point pleasant canal many times and I had my boats it could be disastrous especially if you you loose engine power, I did once in my Mako  351 Windsor, the time was ripping out I was scared to death thankfully  good old days when they weren't worried about insurance and getting sued a good Samaritan towed me to safety in the bay, I anchored up, guess I didn't tighten it up positive cable to the battery anode came loose thank goodness I had seatow insurance they got me back up and running
