Just have a positive out look at the surgery. you will be be better than new with no more pain. Most importantly,  post surgery follow all the instructions to the T.  GOOD LUCK.

It’s been 8 yrs since my ACDF surgery. I know your having a different procedure but follow the recovery schedule and stick to what your doc says. My doc was very conservative but I haven’t had any issues.

Thank you!  For someone up against a spinal surgery, this is the most optimistic and happy I have been in over a year.  When I got home from the hospital yesterday I was able to look at my wife and daughter and finally see some light again.  Thanks for the well wishes!

Good luck with the surgery.  May I ask who is the surgeon you are going with?  I have just been given another name of surgeon for me to see at HSS.

Awesome news.  Sounds like you are in great hands that have a master plan for you.  You will be back on the rug with your little girl before you know it.  Glad you sought out the necessary info and that your outcome will encourage others who are in constant pain that they don’t have to be.  Best of luck and looking forward to the first post surgery report.  Speedy recovery

You will not regret it . A couple months ago I could barely walk, couldn't dress myself .

I am walking 90% and much less daily pain. I had zero choice but surgery and I hope yours comes out great. I have no regrets , yesterday I was climbing trees to limb them out !

Glad you went to HSS! they will fix you up the best and you will be good as new. 

My cousin used to be a head nurse there and many people in family have had surgery there and all have had no issues
