Hunting on your own property

Has anyone ever hunted on their own property before? If so do we treat it like we’re hunting on public land?

 Yes. Farmers permits would be available for property over 6 acres with farming activity

I hunt my property. What do you mean by your question? In terms of regulations like 150ft for bow 450 for gun, etc?

They have been hunting there for 30 years... the old landowner always gave them permission to hunt there.

Hunt it like public property for sure.

When 59 of my buddies and I drive it opening morning, just sit tight. Something mite come by. But don't get upset at the drivers cutting you off 50ft in front of you.

Yes, all regulations apply wether you're hunting your own property or public land.

You have to follow all NJ hunting regulations regardless if you own the property you are hunting or hunting public property. I’ve heard multiple people over the years tell me they don’t need a hunting license because they are hunting their own land.
