How heavy of leader were you using?? Sucks you were chafed off on bigeyes....they are my nemesis. Such cool fish. Were you using circle or J hooks. I seldom use circles...prefer the owner offshore hook for chunking. My buddy uses the BKK monster circle hooks and says he never loses fish using them. I just am not a circle hook guy.
