Out in Zone 6. Warmer than I’d like. I’ve seen the buck I want the past 2 times I’ve been here, last time he was close enough but no clear shooting lane. This might be my last go of it for a while, we have a 2 week old boy at home…luckily my wife knows how much the rut means to me and hasn’t been giving me too much shit but that’s been changing

Had one deer come from behind me this morning.  Didn't know it until I heard it run off.  I know it was him.  Had to be him.  He's haunting me, giving me the slip every time.  Need a cellcam facing behind me all the time..

Just now - perfect summary of 2021 bow season. Always in wrong stand. Bumped my target buck twice in the morning. Passed an 8pt first season I regret. Screwed up last night getting caught off guard but a mature buck. Several shooter bucks showing on variety of cams. Saw a fawn so far tonight, had a dink 6 cruise by and now this.  Perfect!!!!      Failure does make sucess all the sweeter - keep telling myself that !

I'm surprised I'm getting mature does with fawns on my cams with zero indication of being trailed by a buck, they are nice and calm
