Zero Daytime Activity

Ever since with the heavy rains we got the other day the deer haven't showed up at all during the day, in fact no game has shown up during the day.....getting pictures sent to my phone from just before 8pm till around 530am....just getting a few does and fawns and one long spike and one small spike, two bear cubs.....I think it's more of the daylight hour heat/humidity then the heavy rains

They are hanging around in the shade. Hot and Humid! We had a young doe under our shade tree yesterday on our side yard. She didn’t move until the dog eventually spooked her.

Watching a doe and her fawn feeding in the woodlot as I type this.....

I saw a nice buck on Newark watershed yesterday, 5pm, next to route 515.

We had a couple of fawns relaxing in our yard on Saturday. Mother was about 30 yards under Pine trees....

Those heavy rains could have filled a vernal  pool changing their water source as well. Never discount a water source even though the majority of their water comes from green food.
