Anyone Else NOT been in the woods yet?

Dislocated my shoulder several weeks ago, fortunately no damage and the PT seems to be working.  Haven’t been out at all due to restrictions.  Just got the green light from the Ortho yesterday, 2 more weeks and I’ll be in a tree.  Can’t help but get the feeling I am missing most of the season.  I usually do better post rut anyway (that’s what I’m telling myself at least).

Going crazy on this beautiful fall day, hoping I’m not the only one on the couch today...

If I was sitting on the couch today I believe someone in my house would punch me right in the face and ask if I was ok. I'm in a stand right now

I feel like punching myself in the face right now.  Another 2 weeks, that’s all I have to get through.  Good luck out there.

I feel your pain bug get better soon! What a beautiful day to be out in the woods I said when I woke up this morning. instead I took a drive to the hospital pulled a leg muscle three weeks ago could hardly walk that fixed itself,so I can walk now,but I'm sitting in the bed in Hunterdon Medical Center emergency room waiting to get taken for a cat-scan. 19 days I can't stand the abdominal pain any longer I think I'm bleeding internally cuz I had black stools the staff is extremely nice here they'll get me fixed, and maybe I'll get into Woods this year!

I suspect my first day in the woods will be Nov. 22 in NH.  I've been working between NJ and VA all year, and I am also teaching three classes this semester.  I met with two students this morning because they asked for help.  I go to NH every year because I know I'll make it into the woods there.  There's also no cell reception, so I will be undisturbed in the forest.

I feel your pain. Dislocated mine last August. Got a late start to the season and had to buy a crossbow since I couldn't pull my bow back and had to buy a different climber with the rail in front that way I didnt have to put weight on my shoulder when I climbed. It took a few months of PT but it got better. I'm back to regular bow this year.
