11/11 Veterans Day Check-in

I had a shot at a 6 and then a small 8 this morning, waiting for a doe. The 8 went up the hill where my fiend, who I introduced to hunting 3 years ago was hunting, and she put it down.
This felt better than shooting a big buck myself.

Way to go BHCs friend and Lunatics friend!  Nice bucks!

Wind shifted bad so jumped out rather than spewing scent all into where deer are.  Will try there again next good wind.

So buddy did a two'fer today. This 7pt came in at 6:30a and then 5 does around 9am, this being the largest. All the deer where on his side of the property...I saw squa'tah. It was a good day though, we dropped them off at Ely's to try some venison bacon, hot sticks, pepperoni and hot dogs w/cheddar.
