I'm up and I think I'm ready. A few more layers from the cedar closet for sure. Heavy frost on the truck so the woods will be crunchy no doubt.. All the better to hear you with my deer! Good luck to all heading out and yes thank our vets everyday.

In my tree for another all day sit in z7.  Hopefully today will be more productive than the last few sits.  I've been seeing surprisingly few deer this year and NO rut activity to date.  I'm a vet.   In 2002 my PAARNG unit was stationed overseas and we missed the entire hunting season.  You never saw a more grumpy/ depressed bunch of men!   Thanks to all the vets and to all the active duty personnel overseas who are unable to be in the woods on such a beautiful morning.
