The View

There is something majestic to a NYC skyline photo-BUT-

Put me in the dark woods?-I'm comfortable.

Put me in that cities streets?-I'm nervous.

I don't think the good Lord intended it to be that way.(built up)

I often think what that area (NYC) was like 200 years ago (when the Dutch said "Lets sell").

With all the marsh-waterways-rivers all congested in that area-more than just about anywhere.

I've read stories of how the waterfowl would block the sun. Wildlife galore.

I used to have best view of WTC from JC side... Now I have view of East River from Wall Street...     Great places to visit but you wouldn't want to commute there or live there .....(alas - it's my reality)

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…

There were at least two decent native brook trout streams in what is today Manhattan.  Amazing when you think about it.

You got that right. Been driving in to NYC for over 20 yrs.

I'd like to never see it again.
