JerseyJaysTaxidermy
Today I worked on this trout mount. It was caught by a young kid, and is his birthday gift at the end of the month from his father. This was the photo provided that I'm trying to match the reproduction colors to. Here are some photos through the process from a white blank to the finished product. http://www.jerseyjaystaxidermy.com LPJR, dac, SxSshooter and 8 others 11 Jersey Jay's Taxidermy

Bucksnbows
Jay, out of curiosity, in what increments do the mounts come in for replicas? By the inch or other? And is length alone with a picture good enough or do you need the girth measurement which is something I can't take when out guiding or fishing myself when releasing trout. I caught and released a big wild brown from the West Branch a bunch of years ago that I have always thought of mounting one day. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board

Usually. For commonly mounted fish, they have a good variety of sizes available.. length alone is fine for most mounts tho. http://www.jerseyjaystaxidermy.com Bucksnbows 1 Jersey Jay's Taxidermy
JHbowhunter
Very nice Jay - didn't realize you do fish reproductions. Thats a good market - especially for the catch and release crowd or those that want to still eat their catch. Nothing spooks deer more than my stank… 16 3/4” Live Fluke Release Club I shot a big 10pt once….
