Weekend visit to the White House

Well the whole Wallew clan went to the White House Saturday. My sister put in for tickets and somehow we got picked for a self guided tour. 10 of us got to go. Mr and mrs wallew, my 3 daughters, my parents and my sister and her fiancé.

It was an awesome experience for all of us. We got to see the first floor of the east wing and center and also the second floor of the center. My parents got to go through the kitchen also, because that is where the elevator is.  My dad went on the tour in a wheelchair because at 73 his legs are shot from too many years of jumping out of planes in the army.It was very much like walking through a museum. Nice, I walked through the White House and then the Capitol in 1982. We had an invitation/tickets from NJ Congressman James Howard

Very nice.  We took that tour years ago.  The Congressional tour is also pretty neat.

We did also do the guided tour of the capital. That was very cool also.

it was a great experience for the whole family. It was very nice for my dad to get to share it with the grandkids also.

 sounds like you  and your family had a great time ,i should look into that my son all of a sudden is very interested in the presidents. we just got back from disney world and he made sure that we went to Hall of presidents to see Mr President trump LOL ...
