Typical or Non-typical?

Would you rather shoot a big perfect typical buck or a crazy looking non-typical? Comment your decision and give a reason why!

Either is fine by me.

 

I hunt for the meat.  I've never gotten anything mounted and don't ever intend to.  I don't have a place to hang it, and I'm cheap.  I would cut the antlers off and keep them though.  Plenty of boxes to store them in.

I much rather shoot a non typ. I shot a ton on typical bucks in my day and only a couple non typical. something about funky racks I like

I get excited over mass.  Thick gnarly antlers get me gitty as a schoolgirl, whether they are a clean typical or nontypical.

I think the nontypicals look really neat, but if I would much prefer a big majestic typical rack.

hard to say - I like the individuality of each and every buck and mount I have - more important is the story and memory of the hunt...   For the two examples you posted - I would much prefer the typical on the right.

Typical for me. I don't really care for the non typical look. Not saying I would not be happy to take one but not my preference. I would actually prefer a big heavy mass low scoring 8 point over that mangy looking rack.

I'd like a nice think main frame 10 or 12 with a drop. All that extra junk doesn't look too appleasing to me.

Classic, main framed typical, heart shaped, 7 long bladed points to a side........ for me personally...
