Between the rain drops

Tried fishing between the rain drops the last two days for shad .

Rob and I had 40 last night .

Tracey  and I had another 15 this morning .a few with lamprey marksc

was supposed to be a few hour break in the rain , they lied it poured so we only fish 1 1/2 hours .

great to get the boat back on the river

Water level didn’t seem to change much from last night thru this morning, just inch or two . But current speed was definitely way slower this morning .

HUGE difference  putting the boat on the trailer .

one more day would been ideal , but rains just don’t wanna leave .

same for next week
