I was bumped by a massive bull shark while on my Hobie kayak in Charleston Harbor a few years ago. 
My wife told me to grow up an expect these experiences being in their environment lol 😝

Kayak's IMO , Don't belong out in the ocean.  easy for a Shark to snatch you out of it.

Sharks don't go around trying to eat people out of kyaks.  Sure there are some that are curious but it rarely happens.  By your way of thinking I shouldn't have a 24ft center console in the ocean because a whale might surface under it and flip it
