Doe down with stickbow

This morning I headed out with only one stand that I have set up for a S SE wind. No bucks I want to use a tag for in this stand so Im looking for a nice doe. Around 530 I get into the stand and watch the light start to come into the woods and watching the woods come alive. Around 730 I here something walking to my right and I look over and here comes a 2 doe one is around 60 lbs other is around 90. They take there time getting to me and the smaller of the two comes in first and then the bigger one walks out about 20 yards from me checking the wind. She starts to come in and she is about 13 yards now broadside and she puts her head behind a pine tree. I draw back the 45lb recurve and I release and watch my arrow hit its mark> she jumps and my arrow stays in her. She runs about 80 yards before I herd the death crash. Went home and got Hunter to help track and got home before 9. Fun morning and I will carry the stickbow for more hunts its like starting to hunt all over again.
