Good opening morning

Woke up early, paddled in with my not so young anymore stepson and we’re set up by just after 5, beautiful watching the day come alive and the thick fog on the water, we had a short window of good shooting, maybe 10 minutes then it was all over and not another duck flew, definitely was nice to have birds cupped in the blocks and the smell of burnt power. And got to enjoy another opening day with the boy

That last one might have come a little too far into the decoys. Lol

They were all in our lap, furthest shot may have been 15, they were setting up between us and decoys

Us too, but we missed a big group that came in because our shot spread was so tight because they were like 10 yards out. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
